After a domain auction has closed, it can take up to 5 days for the order to process and the domain to be added to your account with the sponsoring registrar. This can take slightly longer if the domain was a private sale and is in the process of being transferred.
First Step, Order Processing
The NameJet auction order program periodically checks for closed auctions and then will attempt to collect the auction fees. Once your account balance or credit card has been successfully billed, you will receive an email order confirmation which is your indication that the order is complete with NameJet.
Second Step, Registrar Account Created
After your NameJet order processes, NameJet will determine the sponsoring registrar, additional account verifications are processed, and the domain will then be added to an account for you with the registrar. This can take up to 5 business days to complete, or slightly longer if it is in the process of being transferred.
You will then receive an email from the sponsoring registrar with your login details. All domain management and technical support for your domain will be provided by the sponsoring registrar. Typically all domains won in the future will be added to this same account.
As this is an automated process, we do not have a manual way to add domains to your account more quickly. Once your account is established and verified, this time may be reduced.
Find your Registrar
Once the entire process is complete, go to My Account > My Domains, and you will find the sponsoring registrar for all domains awarded in the last 12 months that have completed the above process. If the domain is listed on that page and you have not received an email from that registrar, you will need to contact their support department directly for further assistance, as we do not have access to their account information, nor do we have a way to resend any of their login emails.
